The UK–France Women in Nuclear (WiN) Mentoring Programme is entering its sixth year, offering a unique opportunity for early- to mid-career women in the British and French nuclear sectors to benefit from international mentoring and networking.
The programme offers two ways to take part:
Apply as a mentee
Laureates are early- to mid-career women with 3–8 years of experience in the nuclear sector (including time spent studying). They are paired with a senior mentor from the other country and benefit from one-to-one mentoring, networking events, and site visits in the UK and France. The focus is on personal development, confidence-building, and career progression, rather than technical training. Around 30 mentees will be selected this year (15 from France and 15 from the UK).
Apply as a Mentor
Mentors are senior women professionals from the nuclear sector who wish to share their experience, support the next generation, and strengthen UK–France collaboration. Mentors take part in one-to-one mentoring sessions, networking events, and site visits, while also benefiting from reflection, learning, and peer exchange.
Participation in the programme is free, with employers asked to cover travel and accommodation costs for site visits and networking events. This programme is an excellent opportunity to expand your international network, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a more inclusive nuclear sector.
